Rudd's Wins Two Great Taste Awards


At Rudd’s ,we have been acknowledged as a leading producer of breakfast products winning 2 prestigious and coveted Great Taste Gold Awards at London’s Olympia in 2008. The awards were presented for Rudd’s Traditional Black pudding and Rudd’s Roulade of Black and White Pudding. We are justifiably proud of this great achievement. These awards are a clear testament of our determination to only produce quality, artisan, farmhouse products for you, our customers.
Rudd’s Winning Streak Continues.
The Associated Craft Butchers of Ireland’s at their recent Sausage and Pudding Competition in 2008, named Rudd’s traditional sausages as Gold Medal Winner. Rudd’s black and white pudding was also awarded a Silver Medal.
Leading food writers in national media have highlighted Rudd’s thick-cut back rashers, which are dry-cured by hand in the old traditional style and contain no added water, as great tasting, premium products.
Rudd’s at the National Ploughing Championships 2008
In September 2008, we packed our bags and headed off to the National Ploughing Championships in Co. Kilkenny. We took a stand in the Food Village marquee, which was organised by the Leader network. And what a few days we had… providing mouth-watering Rudd’s samples for thousands of hungry farmers! We had such a great time meeting all our loyal Rudd’s customers from all over Ireland.
